Will You Be There? Discovering Resilience and Gratitude as a pathway to Wholeness
Dear Community Members,
Join us tomorrow as we learn to live life as the person we aspire to be, guided by the wisdom of our inner Self. We'll explore together how tuning into this core aspect of our being can bring about a transformational change in perspective, enabling us to navigate life with grace, gratitude, and resilience.Tomorrow's service promises to be an uplifting journey into understanding and embracing our inner resilience and the power of gratitude.
We'll be drawing inspiration from someone who survived a catastrophic plane crash and experienced intense personal transformation. His story is a testament to the incredible resilience of the human spirit and its capacity to find meaning and growth in the face of adversity. His experience emphasizes that we are not alone in our struggles. His journey through physical and emotional pain reveals how easy it is to feel isolated and forget our resilient nature. But, as he beautifully puts it, gratitude is our ally and an expression of our awakened soul. This insight is especially poignant considering his harrowing experience of severe burns and his miraculous recovery.
Want to know more? Come tomorrow! at 9 am or 11 am at the Center for Spiritual Living, Santa Rosa.
The message is clear and humbling: we all face challenges, big and small, but it's how we respond to these challenges that define our journey.
As we approach the end of the year, our focus shifts to the theme of wholeness and the exploration of the 'Self within' – that eternal, immortal, and continually expanding aspect of our being. Dr. Ernest Holmes, our founder, spoke eloquently about this inner self, emphasizing its eternal and immortal nature.
Our service tomorrow will explore how regular practice can help us stay centered and in tune with this inner Self. Even a momentary pause in our day can provide clarity and strengthen our connection with our inner selves.
We'll discuss the importance of recognizing and dwelling upon this inner Self, asking it for guidance, and feeling its presence in our daily lives. Through this practice, we can filter our experiences in the world and find it increasingly difficult to be swayed by negativity or hate.
Warm regards,
Edward Viljoen, Senior Minister
